There was a big crowd – mostly those connected in one way or another with the magazine, and editor William Dart gave a moving speech about survival and continuity.
The Winter 2014 issue was a particularly large one, featuring 16 articles, as well as a book review of Laurence Aberhart’s ANZAC: Photographs.
120 pages of words, images and colour with a cover, entitled 150 especially designed for this fine production by Peter Robinson.
I was privileged to be part of this celebratory issue with an article on Frances Hodgkins in Kapiti – The Field Collection at Mahara Gallery, Waikanae which showed as part of the New Zealand Festival, Wellington, in March this year.
